It may be possible to park inside the marina if there is space in the existing parking lots at the marina. Apart from this, there is a paid parking lot at the marina. We will try to help you as much as we can in this regard.
At the beginning of the week, the entire crew does a joint grocery shopping for the boat. This is just shopping for breakfast and snack items and can be purchased from Migros right at the marina. Although this amount varies depending on the team, on average it does not exceed 200 lira per person.
Apart from this, in every bay we visit, we moor in front of the facilities that can only be reached by boats, and have dinner in these beautiful facilities in the evenings. Everyone pays their own bills.
One day a week (or according to the team's wishes) you stay on the boat and cook on the boat.
Although all of these rules are flexible, the only rule that is not flexible is that no alcohol is allowed during the cruise. That's why alcohol shopping is done separately. Once the boat is moored, everyone can drink freely, but we do not allow alcohol during the cruise for safety reasons.
When all participants arrive on the boat, the cabin selection priority is as follows;
-Firstly, the cabins are shared among the couples. If everyone arrives as a couple, the oldest couple chooses the first cabin
- After couples settle in, the oldest one chooses his cabin
- After these people are settled, those staying as singles can share a cabin or stay in single places in the common area.
Since everyone generally wants to sleep outside during the hot summer months, you don't have to share a cabin and can stay outside.
- If you do not want to enter this list and want your own cabin, you can rent a cabin as a single person with a cabin rental fee.
If you want to get a document, yes, if you don't, no.
No. However, for the training week to occur, there must be a minimum participation of 2 people.
If you would like to have no one else but you during the training, or if you want to sail a boat with your own team, we direct you to rent a boat. In this way, you do not pay extra for training and instructor. These are included in our boat rental prices and there is no other organization that does this in Turkey.
If you want to receive training on your own boat, you can contact us.
Yes, as long as our trainees wish and we find it safe. We also have storm and long distance training. We are the only institution in Turkey that provides training and storm navigation on this subject.
Seasickness is not something that happens suddenly. The operation starts one day before. You should be careful not to eat fatty foods or drink too much alcohol. You can take medications against seasickness before going out to sea. Special balance wristbands also work for this. If you've done all this and still feel seasick, distract yourself on deck, look at the horizon, or steer. If it still doesn't go away and you feel like sleeping, lie down in the living room with your feet pointing towards the bow of the boat. The reason for this is that close to the belt line of the boat is where you will rock the least. Put on your headphones and listen to music. You won't have anything left.
