SAIL.LAB
SMART SAILOR
With the sailing training system we have created as the Sail.Lab team, we turn you from a landlubber with no experience to a sailor who is the captain of his own boat in 4 steps.
After completing your basic sailing training, you start renting the boats in our fleet on flotilla cruises with supervisors, and you will be able to sail your own boat with confident steps.

You complete your training in our Turkish Sailing Federation approved training program consisting of 3 levels. If you wish, you can complete these trainings with your own group by renting a boat and taking private lessons, or by participating in mixed group weeks with individual participation.
Our participants who successfully complete the program receive amateur captain certificates.

You have completed your training. Now it's time to rent a boat!
However, you still have that first excitement and don't you want to sail alone, taking the responsibility of your team? Very normal.
During our flotilla cruises, while our main training boat is sailing, you sail on the same route with the boat you rented from our fleet, with our main training boat and its instructor.
You remain under constant surveillance and communication during the cruise.
Our instructors welcome you at the ports you dock at and help you dock. Thus, you complete your first 'novice captain' process under supervision.

HOW DOES OUR BASIC TRAINING GO?
Trainings with Accommodation Departing from Marmaris
All training you will do with Sail.Lab takes place on the boat, with 100% real examples. Our one-week accommodation training starts at Marmaris Yacht Marina, and in one course week, in addition to using a sailing boat, maritime, life on a boat and sea ethics are experienced as a whole. Every day, a cruise is made to a different bay. Practical training is given during these cruises. Our boats are moored in front of the facilities in the bays that can only be reached by boat, and dinner is eaten together in these facilities. After the theoretical lesson in the morning, we set out to cruise to the next location. At the end of the one-week training, those who pass the theoretical and practical exams are entitled to receive the license of the level they attended.
In addition to education, your holiday will be productive and healthy with our activities such as swimming, climbing, walking and yoga in our spare time.
Daily Sailing Training in Istanbul
Our Istanbul sailing training programs take place outside the summer season.
In contrast to the hourly programs generally offered in the Istanbul region, we calculate our training on a daily basis. Our aim here is not to try to fill a certain number of hours, but to stay at sea as long as the wind conditions allow, and to truly teach our participants what they came to learn. Our participants who complete their basic sailing training in Istanbul continue their weekly programs in the summer months from the 2nd and 3rd levels, and have the opportunity to reach the level where they can use their own boats more quickly.
Offshore Trainings
Our open sea and offshore trainings generally take place between November and April, when the winds are strong and the sea conditions are relatively more difficult. We sail the boats we transfer from distant points such as Italy, Spain and the Netherlands, accompanied by our trainees. In these trainings, sailing is generally done with a day and night shift system and participants are expected to have completed at least level 2 courses.
